Heidi wins award

We’re delighted that our co-founder and director, Heidi Thiemann, has won a Sir Arthur Clarke Award for her services to the UK’s space sector.

The awards were announced yesterday evening at the Reinventing Space Conference in Belfast. The Sir Arthur Clarke Awards are known within the sector as the ‘Space Oscars’, and are awarded for ‘notable or outstanding achievements in all space activities’.

Previous winnders include astronaut Tim Peake, presenter Sir Patrick Moore, and UK Space Agency CEO David Parker.


Joseph Dudley

Joseph is Director of the Space Skills Alliance. Alongside space, he has worked in the education and social sectors, working with coalitions of businesses and charities working to address educational inequality and accelerate the use of digital technology by charities.
